Santana has evolved to a
pre-Carnival where people build
giant puppets, which are then marched
throught the town for everyone's
amusement. A
funny theatre
representation is seen as an
opportunity to say wherever goes on in
one's mind without hurting people's
feelings.

Santíssimo, including the traditional
shak of food and drinks with the
traditional kebab (chucks of beef are
skewed on twigs of laurel) are our
emigrants favourite.
